Remember when Romney lost the election so somebody created White People Mourning Romney and collected various people crying over Romney’s loss

FAFSA, why you being so mean to me? You’re probably going to make me just take out a loan anyways, why are you doing this to me?

I really want to know how many runs have been scored off of HRs vs. hits.

We can’t survive off of (solo) HRs

measurementoftheobserver replied to your post “So I’m mentally dead right now, always am this time of the academic…”

One that I can think of right off the bat is Apple.

That one was in the back of mind…thank you! :)

So I’m mentally dead right now, always am this time of the academic year, so can I ask for some ideas?

I need an example of something that was considered ‘cool’ until it became mainstream within society, for example Coachella and Doctor Who. Those were once considered to be ‘elite’ - that is to say not everyone knew about it so you were cool of you did - but now, everyone knows and participates in them.

Anyone have any ideas?

The fact that Coachella would choose ‘native aesthetics’ to co-opt and reproduce for the amusement of a largely white audience right on the doorstep of the Cabazon Indian Reservation just shows how little they consider NDN’s anything more than fiction or exotic history for the consumption of 20-something hipsters.

"[I]t is remarkable that the same people who view with suspicion the social sciences, and, above all, sociology, greet with open arms opinion polls which are an often rudimentary form of sociology (for reasons which stem less from the quality of the people entrusted with them, carrying them out and analysing them, than with the constraints of the contract and the pressures of time)."
